All of our Doctors come from a long background of traditional medicines, as well as a combined 75+ years of hands-on experience with medical cannabis. They can help you decide what medicine, dose, and formulation works best for your body and lifestyle.

Our team can prescribe traditional medicines where suitable, and even combine them with medical cannabis. That is also important in terms of side effects management and efficacy weaning on other medications. This approach allows us to make informed decisions together, ensuring that any treatment we recommend is safe, appropriate, and effective for your unique situation.
If you simply need advice, a medical referral, or help managing your current medication, we offer one-off pay as you go consultations for £35. These are ideal for patients who may not need ongoing care, but want professional medical input they can trust.
For some patients, conventional treatments don’t provide enough relief — and this is where medical cannabis may offer an alternative option.
We specialise in helping patients to start medical cannabis treatment for those who have never tried cannabis before or have never had a prescription. Our doctors are fully trained in the safe and legal prescribing of licensed medical cannabis products, available through regulated UK suppliers.
We take a careful, step-by-step approach:
Our goal is to help you find a balanced and sustainable solution that supports your health and quality of life. Every prescription is made with care, clinical oversight, and respect for regulations, giving you confidence and peace of mind. Some patients may not have the time to do a consultation with a doctor during the day or the work week.
That is why we offer evening and weekend consultations at the same price as daytime or weekday bookings.
Our team is very well connected with a series of private healthcare services that you may wish to utilise. In some cases, your clinician will recommend to you to explore these. We would provide you with an optional referral, and the additional services or diagnoses will be provided for an additional fee, depending on the service.
We understand that using medical cannabis, even under prescription, can sometimes bring uncertainty. That’s why we’re proud to be the first clinic in the UK to offer Patient Protect — a dedicated legal support service for our patients.
Patient Protect ensures you have access to expert legal guidance if questions ever arise about your prescription or possession of medical cannabis. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to making treatment not only effective, but safe, supported, and respected.
If you’re travelling with a legally prescribed medical cannabis product, you’ll need documentation to carry it safely across borders.
Auravia Medical can provide official travel letters signed by your doctor to confirm your prescription and protect you while abroad. We’ll guide you through everything you need to travel confidently, including advice on country-specific restrictions and how to carry your medication responsibly.
This service costs £10 to cover admin fees.
You may wish to have a letter for your employer, university, landlord, family, or others. We are happy to write a personalised document for you for your specific situation. This service costs £10 to cover admin fees.
If you are a medical cannabis patient traveling to the UK and cannot bring your medicines with you (for example, a stopover in a country that does not allow medical cannabis, travelling from the US, or any other reason), you can book a consultation with us. After providing evidence of your current prescription and diagnosis we will be able to help by issuing a prescription for you.
This will be timed to arrive at the address where you will be staying at the start of your visit. Because of the admin time involved, the whole process (excluding medication) will cost £99. Just call or email the team to get started.
At Auravia Medical, we’re always expanding to meet our patients’ needs. We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon offer ADHD diagnostic assessments for both adults and young people.
Our ADHD service will provide comprehensive evaluations carried out by experienced clinicians who understand how ADHD can impact daily life. From diagnosis to ongoing management, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way. If you already have a diagnosis, then we can follow the same simple process for signing up as everybody else who has a diagnosed condition.
We are working with EndoDNA, an American company that has developed a breakthrough DNA test that matches you with the right cannabinoid medicines for your wellness journey. This will also specify a suggested THC:CBD balance, and what terpenes you will respond to. The outcome may be different than you expect!
We offer this test at a reduced fee and highly recommend it to patients looking for a more detailed look into their healthcare options, or those who may not want to trial many different medications to find the right fit. This would also be discussed with your doctor or a member of our team. They obtain this information via a simple saliva sample which can be sent by post.
By providing excellence in care, Auravia intend to become the leading clinic in the UK. We feel that collecting outcome data (such as your improvement in quality of life, pain scores, or any other scoring system) is crucial for the long-term success of cannabis medicines in the UK.
The anonymised data will be used to educate members of parliament, drive conversations with the NHS and support the call for evidence around medical cannabis. Please help us, yourself, and other patients by submitting your scores on our system as soon as this scheme is launched.
At Auravia Medical we believe that good medicine is about partnership. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, exploring treatment options for mental health, or simply need a trusted doctor to turn to, our team is here to help you feel supported, informed, and empowered.
